Glossy PPF simply enhances the shine of your car. It will look like you’ve had a fresh wax and wash at all times. You can also add matte PPF – ask us for examples. We also recommend self-healing PPF these days, since minor scratches and dings will repair themselves under heat (there’s plenty of that in LA).
Regardless of the kind of PPF you choose, it will still protect your car’s finish. We can provide specific recommendations for your car based on our experience, your budget, and your vehicle’s current paint.
PPF prevents damage caused by rocks, debris, insects, and even bird droppings, which can leave permanent marks if left unaddressed. This durable barrier also protects against UV rays, which can cause paint to fade over time.
PPF also makes it easy for you to clean your car. The film repels dirt and water, so in reality, you won’t even have to wash your car as often.
You won’t even notice it has been applied to your car, but it protects your paint, protects your resale value, and saves you from costly repainting jobs. Furthermore, some types of modern PPF can even self-heal in the heat of the sun. If you’d like to learn more about our PPF offerings, get in touch!
First, we wash the car to remove dirt and imperfections. Then we cut the film to match every curve and angle on the vehicle.
During the application, the film is carefully aligned panel by panel, and we’ll smooth out any bubbles or wrinkles that show up. This takes patience, skill, and experience, and we do NOT recommend installing PPF on your own at home.
With proper care, high-quality PPF can last up to 10 years. Maintenance and exposure do come into play. Regular cleaning and parking in shaded areas can help extend the life of your PPF. When it’s time for replacement, the film can be removed without leaving residue or damaging your car’s paint.
